What’s it about?

Supporting and protecting workplace psychological health and safety contributes to success – for organizations, leaders and employees – but not everyone is convinced.

If you’re a consultant, facilitator, human resources professional, health and safety advisor or leader, you can influence positive change – and Workplace Strategies for Mental Health is here to help with a free workshop offered only in 2022 called Motivating powers that be. Register now

Workshop participants will gain tools and knowledge to make it easy for decision-makers to say “yes” to psychological health and safety, not as a separate program but as part of the organizational strategies, goals, policies and processes they already value.
Here’s a sample of what you’ll learn to gain buy-in:

  • Tie your proposal to the organization’s goals and perceived issues – the challenges and opportunities they’re most focused on now
  • Make it practical – offer solutions that can be part of day-to-day routines without requiring more time or processes
  • Make it affordable – there are many free, proven resources to help you design and support your proposed approach

The full-day session will be facilitated by Mary Ann Baynton and is free to attend either in-person or virtually. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Space is limited with in-person sessions offered first-come, first-serve
  • Additional dates may be added in some cases
  • Please indicate if you wish to attend in-person, virtually or either. If you choose either, you’ll be in line for in-person and offered virtual only if the workshop is already full.
  • The session will include a continental breakfast and lunch
  • Please advise of any accommodation needs, like accessibility needs or dietary restrictions

This workshop is offered in English only but resources will also be available in French. Register now
